Foraging // Faces on Film // Some Weather

Faces On FilmBlitzen Trapper plays a one-off headlining date at the ‘Dise tonight (tickets still available here) before opening for the classic lineup of Guided by Voices there tomorrow (long-since sold-out). Supporting them tonight is Boston’s own Faces on Film. Brain child of Mike Fiore, the band scored a ton of buzz for its debut LP, 2008’s The Troubles, and is back this week with its equally excellent second album, Some Weather. Stream and purchase it below via BandCamp, or pick it up on iTunes. FiTi suggested track: “Moon’s Row.”

Before he started work on Some Weather, Fiore spent his February recording a cover song a day. You can check out those tracks on Muxtape.
